Jill Calder's Award Winning Packaging design collaboration with Tangent.

"Eden Mill is very local to me here in Fife and they make the most fantastic gin and whisky. When they got in touch to invite me to be the artist for their 2023 Art of St Andrews Special Edition Single Malt Whisky of course I said yes! I worked closely with both the distillery and lead creative team Tangent who gave me a very loose rein with the art direction, simply asking me to respond to the new distillery location and surrounding area - one I know really well. The distillery overlooks the Eden Estuary near St Andrews, which is a RSPB Nature Reserve and teeming with birds and wildlife. I chose to celebrate that through layers of inky line, colour and texture, which also drew on the smoky, sweet, peaty flavour of this unique whisky. An absolute joy to work on!”
