Elen Winata multi book collab with Batsford Books

Elen has now created four titles for the Batsford Books series Bedtime Companions, we thought it was about time to show them off!

Elen's illustrations are designed to add depth to the reading experience, drawing from ornamental details and traditional folklore motifs. From fire-breathing dragons to the majestic phoenix, each artwork invites readers into the world of the stories before the words unfold.

"The Bedside Companion to Folklore & Magic was commissioned by Batsford Books. This is the fourth cover I’ve illustrated for their Bedside Companion series, and I’m really grateful to have been trusted with it once again. The Folklore & Magic edition brings together prose and poetry meant to be read one entry at a time, every night of the year. I had a lot of fun illustrating this cover, especially getting to play with the quirky characters and magical elements inspired by folklore. It was a lovely collaboration as always!"
