Self-taught illustrator Dale Edwin Murray has brought a new slice of images to his folio at CIA that deliver a keen sense of enigmatic filmic intrigue. There’s something that seizes the imagination in these new works, something that breaks the idea of the image being contained within it’s own frame - that there’s a broader world extending outside the box that you want to know more about.

“Book cover illustration is an area that I would really love to work in so I set myself an ongoing challenge of recreating cover images for some well known novels. My goal is to keep the designs as minimal as possible whilst also creating an almost cinematic sense of narrative.”
