"How To"

Here's a set of funnies for you. Tobatron's illustrations were created for a Belgian restaurant who also make their own magazine. The restaurant is called Brasserie Nieuwpoort.  Comissioned with Belgian agency Reclamebureau Plug they depict a humorous info-style series of how to’s. "How to take the perfect selfie, how to get a six pack..."

The Final Cut

It's a wavy and tumultous journey for the artists and actors and other creative talent trying to make a living out of their craft. Some of the finest and most interesting work doesn't always make it to the final cut. With that mind we want to say 'chin up' to all of you who are making your creative journey. To put it into context - some of these truly goreuous, inky stills are from an animated project with Google that got put on the back burner. We'll never know how these animated scenes might have evolved - but we do know for sure that illustrator Stephen Collins is a very talented and versatile craftsmen who keeps moving, surprising and dazzling us with his skill.

GEOcaching

We've heard some great stories about geocaching. The Guardian HQ recently had security checking up on some rather suspicious looking chaps skulking round a bench below the window and in sightline of employees. After a few worried messages were passed around of these mysterious comings and goings it was soon uncovered that it was an remote control car that had been left as part of a geocach game and people had been happily running up and down the canal path. What a find! Graham Robson has illustrated in a bold colour palette a merry geocaching scene.

Trump Reaction

Totally of his own accord but no doubt inspired by recent GIFS circulating the internet Nishant Choksi has illustrated his personal reaction to President Trumps rise in power and strange, hostile behaviour. These are the best yet. We'll leave you to curl your lips at this slide show of scenarios.
